FAQ & Troubleshooting

I have no themes to create pages from.

PowerPlay currently supports the POWER Pro theme, which must be installed in your HubSpot portal. Install POWER Pro from the HubSpot Marketplace, then click Sync Themes on the PowerPlay home.

Why does HubSpot show an 'unverified app' warning during installation?

HubSpot displays this warning for all apps that are not yet listed in the public HubSpot App Marketplace. This is expected for PowerPlay and not an error — it simply means the app is distributed directly by the developer (maka Agency).

HubSpot asks me to log in with my company's identity provider.

Some HubSpot accounts require an additional login with their identity provider (SSO). This is a HubSpot security setting — log in as prompted and the installation continues normally.

I didn't receive a verification code.

Wait for the resend countdown, click Resend, and check your spam or junk folder.

The correct HubSpot portal isn't listed when connecting.

You may be signed in as the wrong HubSpot user. Log out of HubSpot and sign back in with the credentials that have admin access to the target portal.

'Connect app' fails or I get a permissions error.

Your HubSpot user must have Super Admin or App Marketplace installation rights. Ask a portal Super Admin to run the installation or grant you access.

Can the PowerPlay Agent publish pages or change my live site?

No. The Agent edits drafts only, and only on the page you have open. You review the draft and publish it yourself in HubSpot — nothing goes live without you.

What happens to my pages and images if I uninstall PowerPlay?

Everything PowerPlay created stays in your HubSpot portal — pages, images, templates, and layouts remain fully intact. Only the app's access and editing capabilities are removed. See the Uninstall guide for the steps.
